2minutes on AI: SHOULD IT BE DEVELOPED??

Francis Baker once said, that "Knowledge Is Power" . That was about 400 years ago. But is knowledge still power? I say yes. And through sharing of such knowledge we have become so powerful and developed powerful machines. One of the recent breakthroughs is AI. It is a program that learns by different means, remembers it, and uses it the next time at performs a task; much like experience of humans. Development of AI is very necessary for human kind. If we are to further develop or at least maintain the current standard of living, we need development of artificial intelligence . Simply think of a software which does not need to be updated, it runs by itself and with time, works better. Now many people disregard the development of artificial intelligence, posing it as an eventual threat to humankind and its existence.  The statement is simply foundation less. AI does not hinder human's cognitive abilities, instead it invites more and more people for competitive abilities.

2minutes on WHO IS QASEEM SULEIMANI AND WHY KILL HIM?

The killing of Gen Qasem Soleimani, commander of the Iranian Revolutionary Guards' Quds force, represents a dramatic escalation in the low-level conflict between the US and Iran and one whose consequences could be considerable. Retaliation is to be expected. A chain of action and reprisal could ensue bringing the two countries closer to a direct confrontation. Washington's future in Iraq could well be called into question. And President Trump's strategy for the region - if there is one - will be tested like never before. Philip Gordon, who was White House co-ordinator for the Middle East and the Persian Gulf in the Obama administration, described the killing as little short of a "declaration of war" by the Americans against Iran. The Quds Force is the branch of Iran's security forces responsible for operations abroad. For years, whether it be in Lebanon, Iraq, Syria or elsewhere, Soleimani has been a key instigator in expanding and extending Iran's influen

2minutes on MY FAVOURITE TEACHER

MY TEACHER  ( DRAFT WHICH CAN BE USED FOR ANY TEACHER) The teacher I am going to speak about, is a very versatile personality and an able leader. He plays different games with us, he plays basketball with us, he plays cricket with us and never says no to outdoor games once a day. He is both disciplined and lenient. He treats us more like his family than just the students of the school. And he teaches us _______________. Can you all guess who am I speaking about??                             Sir/Mam, you have been a role model for me everywhere you go. You have taught me so much other than just the subject, about leadership and hard work, that I can never forget. I hope that we remain under your guidance and keep up the same high spirits forever. Thanks a lot for everything Sir/Mam. Wishing you and all other teachers a very happy teachers day...

2minutes speech on TEACHER'S DAY

A very good morning to everyone present here.Today, on 5th September, we have gathered here to celebrate teachers day. Teachers day as we know is one of the most important days of celebration, as today we pay our formal respects to those noble souls,  who go by the collective name as 'Teachers'. Teachers are those mighty heroes who teach you how to wield the weapon of education, the weapon that can be used to bring about a positive change in the world.                                         As far as the history is concerned, Teacher's Day is celebrated to commemorate the birth-anniversary of Dr. Sarvapalli Radhakrishnan. He was the first vice-president and the second president of independent India. More importantly, he was a great scholar and believed that good teaching is the most efficient way to make our citizens and our country successful. He strongly insisted that, if his birth anniversary has ever to be celebrated, it has to be celebrated for the teaching community

2minutes on CHILDREN: THE ASSETS OF A NATION

The wealth of a nation is not so much in its economical and natural resources, but in the quality of the children. Children are like clay, who can be molded into the most desirable way as they are the sure rein holders of tomorrow. They have boundless stores of energy, willpower, capability, zeal and enthusiasm. The nation develops faster if its children develop better. India has the largest child and youth population in the world. It is therefore, the responsibility of the society to engage youth into playing a constructive role and educate them morally, culturally and academically. But nowadays, the mindset of people has taken a negative shift. Children are not viewed as nation builders but as sources with financial returns . In most cases, both the parents these days are working, which in turn, makes family time reduced to nothing and the child becomes morally weak and prone to depressions. It is therefore very necessary to develop a child according to his tastes. Greta Thunbe
